Digital Pressure Switch with Display (Type DTS)
The Digital Pressure Switch is an electronic pressure switch equipped with a full graphical OLED display that precisely measures pressure in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Compared to conventional pressure switches, the device offers several advantages: a clearly readable digital display, high measurement accuracy, and flexible output options. Its robust stainless steel housing (304) and IP65 protection rating ensure reliable operation even in harsh industrial environments. The rotatable display and connector allow optimal screen visibility in nearly any installation position – ideal for compact or complex mounting locations.

Graphical OLED Display: High-resolution 128×64 OLED display for intuitive visualization of pressure values. Unlike simple 7-segment displays, the fully graphical OLED can show units, symbols, or pressure trend graphs for enhanced process monitoring.

Two Color LED Indicators: Integrated LED lights in the device head (SP1/SP2) visually signal switching states. This allows immediate status recognition, e.g. whether switching thresholds have been reached.

Password Protection: To prevent unauthorized or accidental changes, the configuration menu can be locked via password or key combination. This protects switching thresholds and calibration settings from manipulation and increases operational security.

330° Rotatable Display and Connector Housing: Both the display module and the lower connector housing can be rotated 330° after installation. This enables optimal alignment of both the display and the M12 connector to match any mounting situation – maximizing installation flexibility.

Integrated M12 Connector with Cable: The sensor is equipped with a standardized 5-pin M12 connector. A 5-wire connection cable (1 meter) is included in delivery, allowing fast commissioning without additional wiring effort.

Robust Construction: Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel (sensor diaphragm: 316L; housing: 304), designed for high pressure resistance. The sensor can withstand overpressure of up to 2× (≤100 bar) or 1.5× (>100 bar) its rated pressure without damage. The long-lasting design with high shock resistance and integrated EMC protection (reverse polarity and overvoltage) ensures a maintenance-free long-term operation.
Outputs and Functionality
The DPS offers three outputs for signal transmission: two digital switching outputs and one analog output.
The two switching outputs (Output 1 and 2) are freely programmable and can be configured as either PNP or NPN transistor outputs. This allows flexible integration into various control systems – regardless of the required logic type. The switching outputs enable direct setup of switching points on the device to trigger actions (e.g., alarms or system shutdowns) when certain pressure thresholds are reached or exceeded.
Additionally, the sensor provides a 4–20 mA analog output, delivering a continuous signal proportional to the actual pressure. This analog current output (4–20 mA industrial standard) allows real-time pressure monitoring via PLC or data acquisition systems.
This makes the DPS both a pressure switch (via digital limits) and a pressure transmitter (via analog output) – offering maximum flexibility in process control.
Note on Units and Display Resolution
The digital pressure switch (DPS) supports various pressure units:
bar, MPa, PSI, kgf/cm², mH₂O, and kPa – the preferred unit can be selected in the menu.
The number of decimal places shown on the display depends on the selected pressure range. Each pressure range has a fixed resolution that ensures a precise yet readable display format.
