Liquid-filled gauges. A steadier reading.

Where pumps and machines vibrate, a case filling helps stabilise the movement. Glycerine-filled gauges combine direct mechanical indication with damping of the moving parts.

What the filling does

Easier to read

The liquid dampens pointer and movement oscillation, often making the reading steadier under vibration.

Less mechanical stress

Damping reduces stress on moving components and can reduce wear caused by vibration.

Choose the right version

The filling, materials and seal must suit the temperature and application. A filling does not automatically make a gauge suitable for aggressive media.

For pumps, hydraulics and machinery

Range, case diameter and connection position are key. Choose from the available sizes and connections to match the installation. With fluctuating pressure, also account for permissible dynamic loading and possible pressure peaks.

The case filling does not replace protection against excessive pressure. Strong pulsation may require additional, appropriately selected damping at the process connection. Refer to the instrument datasheet for permissible temperatures.
