The temperature sensor with display is an electronic temperature switch with a full-graphic OLED display, designed to accurately measure temperatures in industrial machines and systems. Compared to traditional mechanical thermostats, this device offers several advantages: It combines a clearly readable digital screen with high measurement precision and flexible output options. The robust stainless steel housing (material: 304) with IP65 protection ensures reliable operation even in harsh industrial environments. Graphic OLED Display: High-resolution 128×64 OLED screen for convenient visualization of measured values. Unlike basic 7-segment displays, the full-graphic screen can also show units, symbols, and bar graphs of the temperature trend.

Two Colored LED Status Indicators: Integrated LEDs (SP1/SP2) in the housing visually indicate switching or operating status. This allows immediate status recognition at a glance – for example, whether a switching threshold has been reached (red = active, green = inactive).

Password-Protected Settings: To prevent accidental tampering, device settings can be locked using a password or keylock function. This feature prevents unauthorized changes to setpoints or calibration and enhances overall operational safety.

330° Rotatable Housing and Display: Both the display module and the lower connector housing can be rotated by 330° after installation. This allows both the display and the M12 connector to be aligned to the optimal position for your setup – ensuring maximum installation flexibility, even in confined spaces.

Integrated M12 Connector with Cable: The sensor is equipped with a standardized 5-pin M12 connector. A matching 5-wire, 1 m long cable is included in the package, allowing for quick commissioning without additional wiring efforts.

Rugged Design for High Temperatures: Made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and designed for demanding applications. For medium temperatures exceeding 100 °C, a thermal extension shaft is integrated to protect the electronics from excessive heat. The durable construction with EMC-compliant electronics (reverse polarity and overvoltage protection included) ensures long-term, maintenance-free operation – even in environments with vibration or electrical noise.
Outputs and Functions
The temperature sensor with display features a total of three outputs: two digital switching outputs and one analog current output. The two digital outputs (Output 1 and 2) are fully programmable and can be configured as either PNP or NPN transistor outputs. This allows flexible integration into different control systems – regardless of whether the PLC expects a PNP or NPN signal. Temperature thresholds can be defined directly on the sensor, triggering automatic actions such as alarms or switching cooling/heating units on or off when the defined limits are reached.
Additionally, the sensor includes a 4–20 mA analog output that provides a continuous signal proportional to the current temperature. This industry-standard output enables continuous temperature monitoring by a PLC, process control system, or other evaluation device. The device can thus function as both a temperature switch (via the digital threshold outputs) and a temperature transmitter (via the analog signal), offering maximum flexibility for process control.
