Pressure transducers: from pressure to signal.
A pressure transducer measures applied pressure and converts it into an electrical signal. Your controller can then process readings continuously instead of only displaying them locally.
Which output fits your installation?
0-10 V
For controllers with a voltage input. Signal ground, supply and wiring must be compatible.
Display or wireless connection
An additional display supports local checks. Bluetooth devices send readings to an app and do not automatically replace a wired analogue input.
Range and medium matter
Match the range to the operating pressure and account for pressure peaks. An unnecessarily large range may reduce useful resolution, while too small a range can be overloaded. Follow the specifications of the selected instrument.
Also check all wetted materials, the seal, medium temperature and electrical connection. For special media or process connections, we clarify the suitable configuration before you order.

Pressure transducer or pressure transmitter?
Both terms are commonly used for the same type of instrument. The actual output signal, range and configuration matter more than the name. A basic pressure switch instead provides a switching signal when a set threshold is reached.
